Design-Glass fabric is a high-gloss aluminium-coloured fabric that can provide surfaces with an exquisite and unusual visual appeal.
Ideal for flat and spheric components like skis, snowboards, car parts (engine cowlings, air filter covers, etc.), and furniture (tabletops), semi-monocoques for safety helmets and bicycle parts (frames) etc.
Design-Glass fabricis a glass-based fabric metallised on both sides. This special finish provides components with surfaces of a highly metallic lustre. A high-gloss depth of effect is obtained when the fabric is impregnated with epoxy or polyester resins.
Design-Glass fabric is available as a dry fabric from R&G and can be cut to size with great precision. Its metallised surface makes it slip-resistant.
