The cured moulding compounds are stable at temperatures ranging from –35 °C to +120 °C. They are resistant to alcohols, esters, salt water, oils, and most acids and alkalis. They do not contain solvents and cure practically free of shrinkage.
The cured material can be machined (drilling, grinding, milling), and varnish applied without pretreatment.
The epoxy resin adheres very well to metal, wood, glass, ceramics, -concrete, and many plastics (incl. GFRP).
Repair sticks are easy to handle: cut off – knead – apply
We recommend that nitrile- or vinyl-gloves are worn. If you procress the compoud without gloves, it is recommended to use a barrier cream.
This is ideal for fast repairs on moist and wet surfaces as well as for underwater applications.
It is used for mending and sealing cracks, holes, leaks, and other flaws in petrol and water tanks, radiators, electric switchgear, sanitary facilities, swimming pools, and in maritime applications.
Pot life (25 g batch quantity/20 °C): 15 minutes
Curing time (20 °C): mechanical resistance after 60 minutes
Final hardness: after 24 h
